10th Feb 2012- Professional 2012 - Jordan Clark

Most of you will be aware we have successfully secured the services of Lancashire Cricket Club employee Jordan Clark. I have seen Jordan grow and develop from a ""lal lad " (Cumbrian slang) aged 6 at his home club of Cleator Cricket Club in Cumbria where i played for 6 years beofre my Read CC days. Have a look at this link to see what Lancashire CCC think about this young mans future. http://www.lccc.co.uk/news/clarks-home-work-benefit/4647 . A real genuine ""Marra"" ( more Cumbrian slang for good lad) that we will enjoy having during 2012 both on and off the pitch.

10th Feb 2012 - Player Sponsorship

To give our own fundraising towards the new devleopment plans a real quick imputous and also to help provide a recurring income stream, we are asking all senior players in the first's, second's and third's to take personal responsibilty to find an individual sponsor for 2012. Basically we are asking for a donation between £50 and £100 and in return we will be producing a club house plaque, web site recognition and press acknowledgment. Hopefully the sponsors will re-new each year rewarding the players achievement and effort in annually. A bit of effort from each player will allow another regualr income stream to come into the club every year as we go forwards.
